Ganesh Mantras


Ganesha Mantras are known as Siddhi Mantras (the one with perfection). Each mantra is full of energy and power of the Lord Ganesha. It is believed that Ganesha mantras, when chanted with true devotion, give positive results. These mantras conjure all the trials and tribulations that adorn the devotee with great success. All mantras are disclosed by the Almighty, the Intelligence, the vision and the experience of sages and men of God divinely enlightened and perfected integral experience. 


         Lord Ganesha is the power of knowledge, success and fulfilment. We think people will benefit from these mantras when chanted with great devotion and faith. Success is not far when you have love and respect, faith and understanding, kindness and desire in your heart and when you are in contact with this power that breaks all restrictions, obstacles, problems, difficulties and offers the successful rays, prosperity and abundance.


Some of these mantras are given below for the spiritual benefit of the readers.

Sloka:
Shuklaam bara Dharam Vishnum
Shashi Varnam Chatur Bhujam
Prasanna Vadanam Dhyaayet
Sarva Vighna Upashaanthaye

Meaning:

We meditate on Lord Ganesha - who is dressed in white (purity representative), who is omnipresent (present everywhere), whose complexion is Gray like that of ash (radiating spiritual splendour), which has four arms, which has bright face (depicting inner calm and happiness) and can destroy all obstacles in our way (spiritual and temporal).

1. Vakratunda Ganesha Mantra:

श्री वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्य कोटी समप्रभा
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्व-कार्येशु सर्वदा॥

Shree Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha

Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvada॥

Meaning: 
Oh god with curved trunk, large body whose aura is likes light of crores of sun Please make my entire work obstacle free, forever.

2. Ganesha Shubh Labh Mantra

ॐ श्रीम गम सौभाग्य गणपतये
वर्वर्द सर्वजन्म में वषमान्य नमः॥

Om Shreem Gam Saubhagya Ganpataye

Varvarda Sarvajanma Mein Vashamanya Namah॥

3. Ganesha Gayatri Mantra

ॐ एकदन्ताय विद्धमहे, वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि,
तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्॥

Om Ekadantaya Viddhamahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi,
Tanno Danti Prachodayat॥

4. Siddhi Vinayaka Mantra

 “Om Namo Siddhi Vinayakaya Sarva kaarya kartrey
 Sarva vighna prashamnay Sarvarjaya  
 Vashyakarnaya Sarvajan Sarva stree Purush
 Aakarshanaya Shreeng Om Swaha.”

Meaning: 



“O Lord of Wisdom and Happiness, only you make every effort and everything possible, You are the remover of all difficulty and you have delighted every being in the Universe, you are the Lord of all women and all men”.

Om Gan Ganapataye Namo Namah
Shree Siddhi Vinayak Namo Namah
Ashtavinayak Namo Namah

Meaning:

This is a mantra from Ganapati Upanishad. One may always use it before beginning a journey, a new course in school, new career or job, or before entering into any new contract or business so that impediments are removed and your endeavor may be crowned with success.

6. Om Namo Bhagavatae Gajaananaaya Namaha

Meaning:

This is a very devotional mantra personifying the all-pervading consciousness of Ganesha. This mantra is very efficacious to have the darshan of Ganesha or to feel his immediate presence as a person.


7. Om Sri Ganeshaaya Namaha

This mantra is usually taught to all children for their good education. It increases their memory power and they become successful in their examinations. Of course, people of any age may use this mantra when taking courses in a school or university and for success in attaining their degree.

8. Om Vakratunaaya Namaha

Meaning:

This is a very powerful mantra as discussed in the Ganesha Purana. When something is not working properly, individually and universally, national or international, or when people's minds and negative curves, Ganesha's attention can be drawn to this mantra to straighten their means. The HUM symbolises "Delay no more, my Lord, to straighten the paths of those of the curve of mind." This mantra is used several times in the Ganesha Purana to stop the cruel demons atrocities. In addition, this mantra could also be used for healing of the spine defects such as curvature of the spine or curved members. Dedicating 1008 repetitions of this holy word to correct and heal these irregularities.

9. Om Kshipra Prasadaya Namaha

Meaning:
That kshipra means instantaneous. If some danger or something is coming your way and you don't know how to get rid of that trouble, with true devotion, practice this mantra for quick blessing.
